It is used by phones and servers from many vendors as well as many Open Source applications. This class goes through the details of SIP from basics to advanced functions like SIP transfers, SIP subscriptions, routing and forking.

About the teacher
Olle E. Johansson is a consultant in TCP/IP networks, IP telephony and Network Security. He has been a contributor to the Asterisk Open Source PBX project for many years, as well as teacher, documentation writer and co-founder of the Astricon Conference. Olle works with building large-scale Open Unified Communication platforms for enterprises, call centers, universities and service providers. All of these run SIP with Asterisk and Kamailio. Olle has been working with TCP/IP network technology since 1989 and have a lot of experience in a wide range of TCP/P protocols and solutions. He is based in Sollentuna, Sweden where he operates his own company , Edvina AB.
Olle is a well-known and experienced speaker and teacher, with a good reputation for being able to explain complicated issues and share his personal views with both humour and positive energy. When he is not working with networks, he is taking care of his garden and flowers and enjoys the company of his family.
